My name is Mikael Vesavuori, and I'm a human with an artist's soul (MFA background), a techie's love of bits and bytes (lifetime builder), and the hunger of being a three-time founder. I make software, write about software, and share opinions about the software industry.

Currently, I am a Product Manager at evroc.

On the side, I am building things like:

  • MolnOS, the world's smallest cloud;
  • The MikroSuite, a set of minimalist, useful, self-hosted productivity and developer tools;
  • Plain, a faster, lighter, safer way to browse the web;
  • Kod, the minimalist and sovereign replacement for your Git tool;
  • Phaset, a better version of Backstage.

Before this, I was building Popcorn Cloud—an intent-first no-code platform—and working as Technical Standards Lead at Polestar.

I don't do social media, but I do send my thoughts every once in a while as a newsletter; just send me a mail and I'll add you to my list. And if you have something going on where I might be a good fit, send me an email.
