Optimal Human Food Object (unfinished)

This is some of the unfinished output I created for the project that was nearly what I did for my part in the MFA exhibition show.

As a follow-up and commentary on the very aggressive Pose & Dispose show, my solo MFA show, I initially wanted something with a less overt edge and a longer after-taste. Given my preoccupation at the time with themes like autonomy, freedom, survivalism, and politics, I researched a lot into the merging of fitness, "ideal foods" and nutrients—and to keep with my political plays—the food and administration of food to refugees.

I found a lot of interesting overlaps and the intent was to have strictly true, but bizarrely long-winded, sets of textual formulations starting from ingredients and going into the macro economical, together with an actual food product that resembles the "ideal" food in terms of nutrients per dollar.

However, this was not the first and last time I've been stopped for health and safety reasons to show my work, and I moved on to display Every Last Meal instead.

Anti-christian iconography is a staple of black metal music and even those who have no interest whatsoever in the music knows this. What then if one were to reverse the stakes and update the religion to something with a bit more bite?

Interestingly, Swedish black metal group Watain did something similar years later on an actual, real album!
